Y si no somos conscientes de ello, nos convertimos en peones de su eterno juego de polaridad.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><strong>La mec\u00e1nica de la dualidad<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">El concepto tao\u00edsta de <strong>yin y yang<\/strong> ense\u00f1a que las fuerzas opuestas no son enemigas, sino complementarias. Cada una lleva una semilla de la otra. La luz existe s\u00f3lo porque la oscuridad la enmarca. La alegr\u00eda s\u00f3lo brilla porque el sufrimiento la contrasta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">En nuestra vida personal, esta dualidad se asemeja a menudo al amor y al odio:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">Amar algo ferozmente puede crear un potencial igual de amargura si se pierde.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">Odiar algo intensamente suele significar que estamos secretamente ligados a ello, ensombrecidos por su influencia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">Cuanta m\u00e1s energ\u00eda vertemos en un lado de una polaridad, m\u00e1s reforzamos el otro.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><strong>C\u00f3mo las estructuras de poder explotan la polaridad<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Pol\u00edtica<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">La pol\u00edtica moderna se nutre de la polaridad.<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Izquierda vs. Derecha, Liberal vs. Conservador:<\/strong> Estas categor\u00edas simplifican el vasto espectro del pensamiento humano en campos tribales. A los ciudadanos no se les ense\u00f1a a buscar el equilibrio, sino a amar a un bando y despreciar al otro. Cuanto m\u00e1s odiamos al \u201cotro\u201d, menos nos damos cuenta de los problemas comunes, como la concentraci\u00f3n de riqueza, la corrupci\u00f3n o la erosi\u00f3n de las libertades.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Guerra contra el terrorismo, guerra contra las drogas, guerra contra la pobreza:<\/strong> Enmarcadas como cruzadas justas, crean enemigos perpetuos. Cuanto m\u00e1s lucha el Estado, m\u00e1s justificaci\u00f3n tiene para ampliar el poder y la vigilancia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Ciclos electorales:<\/strong> Los pol\u00edticos rara vez resuelven la polaridad; la inflaman. El miedo y la devoci\u00f3n impulsan los votos. El matiz no.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Econom\u00eda<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">Lo mismo ocurre con el dinero y los mercados:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Auge y ca\u00edda:<\/strong> Los bancos centrales y las instituciones a menudo se posicionan como salvadores durante las crisis que la especulaci\u00f3n descontrolada o la manipulaci\u00f3n ayudaron a crear. Ama el mercado alcista, odia el desplome, pero ambos alimentan el sistema.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Consumismo:<\/strong> El marketing ingenieriza el deseo (amor por los productos) al tiempo que siembra la inseguridad (miedo a quedarse fuera). La indiferencia es el equilibrio, el t\u00e9rmino medio que se niega a dinamizar los extremos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">A veces, lo m\u00e1s sensato no es amar u odiar, sino ser testigo. Observar. Comprometerse con el mundo sin dejarse esclavizar por \u00e9l.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Aplicar la dualidad a su vida<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol dir=\"auto\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Observa tus amores y odios.<\/strong> Aquello a lo que te aferras con m\u00e1s fiereza puede ser donde la dualidad te atrape.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Libera la necesidad de extremos.<\/strong> La pasi\u00f3n sin apego es posible. Ama profundamente, pero deja ir con facilidad.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Ver el juego de la polaridad.<\/strong> Cuando las instituciones te empujen hacia la devoci\u00f3n o el odio extremos, haz una pausa. Pregunta: <em>\u00bfA qui\u00e9n beneficia esta polaridad?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\"><strong>Practicar el equilibrio.<\/strong> El yin no es derrotado por el yang, sino que se completa con \u00e9l. Busca la armon\u00eda, no la victoria.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><strong>La paradoja final<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">Rechazar la dualidad es en s\u00ed mismo otra polaridad. El objetivo no es matar el amor, ni glorificar el odio, ni cernirse en la insensibilidad. Se trata de <strong>mu\u00e9vete por la vida despierto<\/strong>, comprendiendo que la dualidad es el escenario, no el gui\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\" dir=\"auto\">Cuando ves la danza con claridad, ya no est\u00e1s atrapado en ella.
